48 HOUR FILM PROJECT

Brisbanes 48 hour film project is coming up starting on the 4th of October.

"The 48 Hour Film Project is a wild and crazy filmmaking competition where teams must write, shoot, edit and deliver a short film in only 48 hours."

BRISFEST opening ceremony!

Grab a spot on the grass and get set to kick off three weeks of festival fun with a free sunset concert by the iconic Brisbane River.

Relish in the celebrations including a Welcome to Country conducted by a traditional custodian and representative of the Yuggera People, an Indigenous dance performance by local students from the Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts and performances by opera fusion group Babushka and the Brisbane Sings show choir.

Then be the first to catch the premiere of the new Santos GLNG City of Lights show at 7pm.
The free entertainment continues during the night on the Festival Stage.

Brisbane Festival acknowledges the traditional owners of the lands where Brisbane Festival takes place, pays respect to their elders—past, present and emerging— and acknowledges the important role Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people continue to play in the Brisbane community

Now brisfest will be going on ALL the way to the 27th of sept so book, book, book!!! We are right next to the Powerhouse AND Judith wright centre. The city a 20 minute walk away and a 15 minute walk to the ferry to get to south bank.
