September is an awesome time to visit Brisbane, we celebrate the river with
river festival.
There are
activities everyday over at South bank and around the city, every night there
is an amazing light show on the river best seen from south bank, on the 29th September we have river fire.
Stake out your spot, get ready to be amazed and look to the sky for the Festival’s closing night extravaganza, Sunsuper Riverfire.
The city’s favorite Festival event will feature all the colour and noise the crowd adores plus a new pumping soundtrack to send shivers down your spine. Grab your family and friends and head down to The Parklands, South Bank where the fun kicks off from 12noon.
During the day you can check out the Australian Defence Force Open Day, aerial displays and 104.5 Triple M’s live outside broadcast. Those celebrating at home can tune into Channel Nine’s exclusive coverage from 6.30pm.
The fireworks light up the sky at 7pm.
